service locations, drop off your tank and pick up a new one.
There is no need to wait while an attendant fills your tank.

The Smart Exchange™ propane tanks are professionally and carefully
filled at the factory, which means that less gas escapes into
the atmosphere. More importantly, we refurbish more than 200,000
used tanks a year. Tanks that cannot be refurbished are sent
to metal recyclers. It's good to know that buying Smart Exchange
Propane is also a smart thing to do for the environment!
